Q3. Can individuals book your services?
A. Yes, absolutely. We support a wide range of individual life events including bridal, coming-of-age ceremonies (Seijin-shiki), Shichi-Go-San (children’s traditional ceremonies), commemorative photography, parties, and more.

A. We use an outsourced service contract (prime contractor model), not worker dispatch. We contract with clients to deliver each project in full. For long-term corporate clients, we can also offer a master service agreement + individual purchase order structure.

A. For individual clients, services at our partner hair & makeup salons in Tokyo are popular:

We also offer on-location hair & makeup services upon request.

Q9. What are your payment terms?
A. Standard terms are end-of-month closing with payment due at the end of the following month. We can accommodate custom payment schedules aligned with corporate accounting cycles.
Q10. What areas do you cover?
A. We cover all 47 prefectures of Japan plus international tours. Same-day service is available in major cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. Regional coverage includes separate travel fees.
Q11. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Individual clients: 50% for cancellations the day before, 100% for same-day cancellations. Corporate clients: Per contract terms (typically free cancellation up to 3 business days prior, with progressive fees thereafter).
Q12. Are travel fees to shoot locations/event venues separate?
A. Travel within Tokyo’s 23 wards is generally included in the base fee. However, for early morning/late night services, locations outside Tokyo’s 23 wards, regional/international projects, transportation and accommodation expenses will be billed separately as actual costs. Details will be provided in advance based on project specifics—please feel free to inquire.

A. Yes, you may request artists you’ve worked with previously (subject to availability). For first-time clients, we will propose the best team for your needs.
Q14. Do artists bring their own equipment and supplies?
A. Yes, artists bring a full set of professional hair & makeup supplies. For special equipment needs (e.g., special effects makeup tools), please consult with us in advance.
Q15. Do you accommodate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)?
A. Yes, we do. For talent agencies, production companies, record labels, publishers, and other organizations with confidentiality requirements, Hairmake Matching Inc. executes NDAs centrally to ensure confidentiality. By contracting with our single entity, you can streamline the process while we manage artist social media posting rules, backstage information handling, and on-site photography protocols directly. We support electronic NDA execution via MoneyForward Cloud Contract, enabling same-day execution without stamp duty or postage. For projects requiring stricter information security, we can also arrange direct NDA execution with individual artists or their affiliated companies upon request.
